- Software and Operating System Upgrade - Ensuring that all Microsoft patches have been installed. Keeping the operating system up-to-date is beneficial for increased system performance and maintenance.
- Memory (RAM) Upgrade - For improved speed and performance, increasing system memory is the most efficient and cost-effective solution. Although 256MB is the minimum RAM required to run an operating system, increasing this to 1GB will show a marked escalation in system function.
- Hard Drive Upgrade - A full hard drive reduces system performance, and with the increased number of individuals storing music, video and photo files on their computers, it can happen quite quickly.
