Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PC Fault Fixer engineers, be liable to you for any special, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind. Any damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, those resulting from loss of use, data, profits or business interruption arising out of the use, inability to use, or the result of using this site or any web site reference or linked to from this site.
Terms and Conditions
The customer is totally responsible for backing up all data on his/her computer, prior to any work being undertaken by PC Fault fixer. This is without exception.
PC Fault Fixer cannot guarantee the complete resolution of a problem if the customer is unable to provide the necessary passwords, license number, software or related information for the computer concerned.
Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed by PC Fault Fixer engineers.
At present we are only able to accept cash.
No charge is made for travelling. You are only invoiced for the work completed and time spent.
We will endeavour within realistic time to fix the problem onsite, however if diagnosing and fixing the problem takes more than an hours then PC Fault Fixer will take the PC/Laptop away for further analysis.
For any items that need to be taken back to our workshop, PC Fault Fixer will provide a Receipt of Equipment for proof of handover detailing what has been handed over and the problem at that time was.
Testing charges will apply if we trace the problem down to Specific hardware and you decide not to commence with the repair or replacement of the component. Our time is charged to the customers spent to that point.
Testing charges will apply on repaired PC's when we find it impossible to fix/diagnose the fault in the system and/or hardware.
All parts that are purchased are brand new or if not available second hand parts for older equipment in rare circumstances will have to be purchased.
All new parts replaced within the first 14 days are covered by PC Fault Fixer guarantee service for any manufacturing faults. Thereafter any faulty parts that occur will need to be looked at separately by PC Fault Fixer and then charged to the customer.
If we are able to resolve the problem or effect the repair and only prevented from doing so because the customer does not possess the required software CD-ROM or product key, then the customer is charged for our time spent to that point.
This policy does not apply to work related to computer virus problems or to cases in which the computer has been struck by lightning or power surge.
